Strategic Planning

Purpose: To review and assist companies in the planning, development, implementation, and reinforcement of their Strategic Business Plan
Duration: 2–4 days (dependent upon company specification)
Overview: Strategic planning is an essential step in the success of organizations. The plan defines the operating guidelines for the company and provides the foundation and the direction for the employees in the company. Strategic Plan attainment must be reviewed for status and then new plans developed at least yearly.
Audience: Senior Leaders and Staff, Design/Steering Committee, Union Officials
Materials: Clients will receive a review and attainment level of the previous years' Strategic plan and a workbook for the next year's Plan development
Key Outcomes:
  • A written report on status of previous year's plan
  • Recommendations to achieve the previous year's results
  • Development of next year's plan including:
  • Vision and Value deployment
    • Development of company business objective
    • Key company initiatives
    • Non-negotiable business processes
    • Training plan
    • Communication structure
    • Benefits, Risks, and De-risks of the plan
