Readiness Assessment

An on-site assessment to ascertain the level of business process application and team development within an organization

1-5 days, depending on facility size

Overview: |
An in depth Readiness Assessment is of one of CSI's standard steps for any organization preparing to make the transition to business-focused work teams. The Assessment is critical for assessing the management's current level of involvement and authority and gauging how that role will change once the organization converts to teams. The emotional and attitudinal read from the employee standpoint is also assessed during interviews. The primary strengths of an organization are evaluated in each major business focus area to ensure that a fully rounded employee morale, business accountability, and leadership management view is integrated into a comprehensive facility assessment summary. Using pre-read materials, personal interviews, surveys and observation of facility, CSI prepares a report, which includes strengths, areas of development, initial, short term and long term recommendations, statistical analysis, quotes and supporting materials. A half-day is included for presentation of results, and planning for next steps.

Audience: |
During Assessment: The assessment should include 30 minutes interviews with a random selection of employees (all levels, areas, shifts), with surveys completed by all (or a representative sample) employees.
Assessment Debrief: Senior Leader and Staff, Design/Steering Committee, Union Officials
